World’s Largest Carbon Capturing Project Using HBIS Petrol Chemical Steel plates

August 29, HBIS Wusteel made the latest delivery of its Vanadium chromium molybdenum steel plates to its overseas client to manufacture key equipment in the world’s largest carbon capture project, Darrow Blue. All the properties of this batch of steel plates have passed and received the certification of French Shipping Society and customers, represent international advanced level.

HBIS has always been upgrading its technologies and exploring new market opportunities, both domestic and overseas. The newly developed high thickness and high performance Vanadium chromium molybdenum plates could well meet demands in petrol chemical industry. With its advantages in technologies, HBIS Wusteel engaged the Darrow Blue project team and designed the chemical specifications for the project. Upgraded the steel making, rolling and heat treatment procedures also guaranteed the high quality products.   

Darrow Blue is the world’s largest carbon capturing project, with a 4.5billion-dollar investment.
